Be A Witness to History!

On Friday, April 26th the LOFT students will be travelling to the Congregation Agudas Israel to hear firsthand accounts from survivors of the Holocaust. Remember: boys are required to wear a Kepah for the presentation.

Metis Jigging!

On Thursday, March 14th we are lucky to dance the jig with Krystle Pederson! Don't forget to bring your dancing shoes!!

 



Smudge

On Friday, March 1st The LOFT students will have an opportunity to smudge in E.D. Feehan's cultural room. The session will be led my Virginia Moberly. It is a time for silent reflection and prayer.

 



Living Peaceful Lives

Starting on Tuesday, January 15, Fred and Virginia from Catholic Family Services will be visiting The LOFT and presenting on various topics related to living a peaceful life. The sessions will last for 30 minutes for each gender group. What an exciting opportunity!

 



Christmas Break

The last day of school before Christmas Break is Friday, December 21st. Students will be dismissed at 12:00pm that day. School resumes on Thursday, January 3rd. We hope you have a relaxing break!





Swimming on Wednesday!

On Wednesday, December 12th we are going swimming at Lakewood from 1-2pm. Don't forget your swimming suit and towel!

Str8 Up to Visit E.D. Feehan!

On Tuesday, December 11th The LOFT will attend a presentation given by members of the Str8 Up program. Members of this group will share their personal stories about gang life and how they have turned over a new leaf with the help of Father Andre at the Str8 Up program. Don't miss it!
