Christmas Break

The last day of school before Christmas Break is Friday, December 21st. Students will be dismissed at 12:00pm that day. School resumes on Thursday, January 3rd. We hope you have a relaxing break!





Swimming on Wednesday!

On Wednesday, December 12th we are going swimming at Lakewood from 1-2pm. Don't forget your swimming suit and towel!

Str8 Up to Visit E.D. Feehan!

On Tuesday, December 11th The LOFT will attend a presentation given by members of the Str8 Up program. Members of this group will share their personal stories about gang life and how they have turned over a new leaf with the help of Father Andre at the Str8 Up program. Don't miss it!

Swimming at the Wave Pool!

On Friday, November 9th The LOFT will be touring over to The Lawson Civic Center to go swimming from 1-2pm! Please remember to bring your bathing suit and towel!





Happy Halloween!!

The LOFT is excited about Halloween this year! On Wednesday, you  may come to school wearing a costume (as long as it is school appropriate). We are also carving pumpkins that morning AND watching a SPOOKY movie in the afternoon!

We will have a SPOOK-TACULAR good time!

 

 

School Pictures Due October 10th

This is a reminder that if you are purchasing school photos, you must bring your money to The LOFT no later than Wednesday, October 10th.

The LOFT to visit Eagle Creek on October 2nd!

On Tuesday, October 2nd The LOFT will be touring out to The Ed and May Scissons Environmental Education Center to explore the aquatic ecosystems of the area! Be sure to dress appropriately for the weather and wear comfy shoes!

Saskatoon Forestry Farm Park & Zoo

On Friday, Sept. 28th The LOFT students are touring down to Saskatoon's zoo to get "up close and personal" with the animals! We will be departing from The LOFT at 11:00am. Upon arrival, we will tour the zoo on our own, have a picnic in the park, and then meet up with Greg for a behind the scenes tour of the hawk, owl and red fox cages! Don't miss it!

Oskayak Fall Powwow

On Friday, September 21st we are lucky to attend the Fall Powwow at Oskayak High School. We will leave The LOFT at 9:30am and return after lunch. Be sure to come to school tomorrow and share in the beauty of First Nations song and dance!
